Food For Soul: Tertib Berdoa

Doa senjata orang mukmin. Pelbagai cara orang menadah tangan ketika berdoa.

Mencari keberkatan doa…

Doa senjata orang mukmin…. Berikut ada panduan tata cara berdoa iaitu:

1) angkat tangan ke paras dada

2) rapatkan kedua-dua belah tapak tangan

3) apabila urat tangan bertemu ia akan menjadi seperti huruf ba ب

Love,

Our Go-Cart Session

One of the things that me and hubby have in common is the passion for adventurous/ outdoor activities. However, it can be counted how many times we involved in the same activity together.

Reason being, during the university years (when we were just friends), we involved in different activities. I was more into hiking/mount climbing activities, while he involved in cycling and sports mainly. When we were dating, there were a lot of boundaries that didn't permit us to joined the activities together...risau parents kami :) Finally when we got married that we had some time to spend for these types of activities. But it's not easy to juggling time between work, family and our leisure time (especially now that we have 3 precious gems that hunger for our love and attention :)).

It's been a while actually since we had something fun together so when we saw the Milkadeal offer for a go-cart session (RM36 for half an hour go-carting instead of RM180), we decided to go for it. Actually, this was the 2nd Milkadeal coupon purchased for myself. The first one was a manicure/pedicure deal that was not redeemed (don't ask me why..haha! :P)

the coupon we purchased..

As soon as the redemption period was on, we made the appointment and on last Sunday, we went to Cyberjaya Circuit at Cyberjaya Community Club to have our ride ;). We left the kids at home with the helper.

Faiqa favorite activity every time I got ready..playing with my Dior's make up bag :D

Alhamdulillah, it was sunny when we arrived. The appointment was supposed to be at 4pm but it was delayed almost half an hour due to a big crowd came that day. Takpelah, mengalah..no rush for us.

Part of the circuit...

handsome hubby of mine, waiting patiently for our turn :)

both of us, just as we were about to race!
it was windy and very cooling...just niceee ;)

Since we redeemed the coupon of 30 minutes rides for two, it was just us both "competing" on the circuit that evening. This was my 2nd time go-carting. The first was in Genting Highland when me and Fadzil were courting and it was lame. Alhamdulillah this experience was much, much better!

I must admit, it was hard to get used at first mainly because (PLEASE DON'T LAUGH) both of my feet can't reach the pedal (T_T). So this "petite" gal need pillows to support her back to shortened the distance between the foot and the pedal..tsk! Can u imagine in high speed, especially when you reached the sharp corner how you struggled to keep your small body from slipping to the left/right?! (>.<) The next thing was to get used to use both foot; left for brake and right for power which is totally different from auto driving where right leg do most of the work :P Last but not least was to adjust the speed when it comes to sharp cornering.

spot the pillow? :P

Other than that, it was a total fun! I started quite slow but after the 3rd laps I already gained confidence to speed. Best ok the feeling, when the strong wind blew as you drove and the adrenaline rush as you do the cornering without tapping the brake...fuuuuh, perasan F1 driver skejap :P  Betul-betul release tension! As expected, hubster won the "race", he overtook me about 5 laps kot, and being a gentleman, he did gave me to overtook him 3-4 times before he overtook me again. Haha! :))

The 30 minutes we had was ample and enough for us..and I must say it was a pretty good deal since the amount we paid was actually for a 10  minutes ride only. Usual price for 30 minutes go-cart is RM180 per person. Quite expensive, eh? As soon as we finished our turn, rain poured heavily at Cyberjaya. It was time to go home, to spend the rest of Sunday with our cinta hati, our children.

That night we went out for dinner at our favourite restaurant, entertaining our 3 FN....

Faaz Naqi..

Falisya Nayla...

??

Oh wait...we missed Faiqa Nayra's photo.
Where was she??

Oh, at this time she was actually being carried to the next table by a Khazakstan lady.
She was so into the chubby Faiqa that she requested to "borrow" her short while from us to take a photo with her..hihi

si bam bam Faiqa Nayra :)

p.s: can't wait for our next adventure..what's next, hubs? :)

Food For Soul : Kelebihan Wanita

Assalamualaikum dear readers,

Starting from today onwards, every Friday insyaAllah I will share good and beneficial articles for us Muslimah in this "Food For Soul" entry so that we are always be reminded (especially yours truly) and share the knowledge among us. May we gain something good from it, insyaAllah, amin! :)

Sabda Nabi Muhammad SAW, "Sampaikan ilmu dariku walaupun satu ayat"

**************************************************************************

MISF: The galleries

As mentioned in my previous post, I also visited other exhibitions at MISF. The first exhibition I went inside the hall was the Miniature Shoe Showcase. Here, miniature shoes (tiny miny shoes) with different themes were displayed. I just love to see how creative and detailed the design. Check it out! ;)

theme: seashell

theme: universe

theme: greek goddess? centaur? i have no idea :P

theme: jungle

theme: ancient treasure

theme: halloween

theme: hair

theme: paper circus

theme: party

theme: icicle

theme: star studded

theme: cloudy

Next, I went to see the Wedding Shoe Gallery. Honestly, I was expecting for more but it was just a small and simple gallery displaying the shoes wear by different ethnic's wedding....kinda disappointing.

The last exhibition that I went was visiting Malaysia's Biggest Shoe House. How huge it was? Take a look at me standing near the shoe. The size was 10.5m width x 4m height. It's gigantic! :)

We actually can go inside to enjoy the rainforest shoe wonderland. Here, you'll surprised how shoes can magically transformed into little things in everyday life :)

Before we went back home (I went to MISF with hubster..thanks yang teman your wifey ;)), we took the opportunity to shop. FYI, the sales at MISF were crazy! Compared to last year, this year more international brands took part and they gave good discounts. While walking, I can't help from noticing that even custom made shoes for bride-to-be are having discounts as much as 70%!!

these are custom made ladies, tempah with the cost of as low as rm40!!
really good deal ;)

cute colorful shoes for as low as RM19.90..

We bought babies shoes for the twins from Osh Kosh B Gosh with 50% discounts! Wanted to "borong" more but they ran out of my babies' size. Too bad...should have gone to MISF on the 1st day instead of the last day :P

At first, we thought that I will be the one who done the most damaged as me and shoes can't be saperated. We were wrong. Instead, mr. hubby who did all the shopping. Office shoes dia sampai 2 ok...over :P Hehe. But I don't mind at all..in fact, I was the one who chose the design for his new Dr. Cardin :) They were having a good deal - a package of shoes, sandals and a free tote bag for a cheap price! I wouldn't miss to shop as well if I was on his shoes :)

As for yours truly, I didn't get anything for myself. Tak percaya? Percayalaaaaaah.... Hehehe. I didn't shop for any shoes but I was given a pair of clog shoes for FREE! No, I didn't win any contest or lucky draw (they have that in MISF for the 3 days). Actually, I was invited to attend this event by MISF committee of Ministry of Tourism as a blogger. As a token of appreciation for promoting this event, I've been given a free handmade clog shoes worth RM50 with my initial drawn on the clog shoes. :)

The place to redeem my gift - clog shoe making gallery

Mine, size 6. Love it <3! :)

with a personalized named :)

Overall, MISF is a fun festival for shoes lover and I am glad I did not missed it this year. Will I go again next year? InsyaAllah, with God's will, I would love to! This time around, I hope they will have more to offer in terms of exhibitions, activities and of course brands participation ;)

MISF: The Footware Design Exhibition

Last 1st April, I went to MISF 2012 (finally!) for the first time :) As it was a shoe festival, shoes were seen everywhere with different shapes, sizes and designs. Shoes, shoes and shoes! Hihi.

The first thing I saw upon arriving at Hall 2 PWTC was the Malaysia Footwear Design Competition exhibition. Various shoes with futuristic, modern and even classical touch were displayed. It was an catching show :)

Being a shoe-o-lover, I can't help myself from admiring those creative pieces of arts. Some, were too weird to wear and some, were irresistible! sleek and sexy! :)

Day-dreaming myself wearing some of those pretty heels :P

Among all, these shoes has won some of the awards in this year's competition:

1st Prize for Ladies Category:

Facebook Most Liked Award:

Most Promising Awards:

uuuuuh, sexy! ;)

My personal favorite. Wished I have a pair :P

definitely useful for petite peeps like me! :P

other eye catching designs that did not won any award but certainly won many hearts :)

Apart from this design competition, there was another shoe competition being held; The Shoe Painting Competition. Here, plain white sneakers was given to the contestant and all they have to do was to decorate it as creative and as beautiful they can. It was interesting to see how a plain sneakers transformed into funky "Aladdin" shoes or sweet laces shoes. Creative sungguh mereka-mereka ini ;)

Besides competitions, there were other interesting exhibitions in MISF such as the Rainforest Shoe Wonderland, The Wedding Shoe Gallery and the Miniature Shoe Gallery. Will share about it more in my next entry.

Stay tuned, shoe-o-holic! :)
