Clock is tickling, it shows 8:23pm here and I am left alone in the office. So far its my routine, I am the last to leave the customer's office. Still a lot to settle, but I take five just to update this blog with my random rambling :D

Anyway, if you miss me, you can always check out my instagram account. I update it quite often since it doesn't required so much time. So yeah, do check it out ya :) -

My latest addiction in instagram? Using the InstaWeathers and InstaPlace apps. Here's are some photos that I took over the long weekend. More to come, insyaAllah :)

Food For Soul: Larangan Memukul Anak Kecil Sedang Menangis

*Faiqa Nayra with her first cry for milk on day #1 :) *

Baginda Rasulullah s.a.w. bersabda :
'' Janganlah kamu pukul anak-anak kamu di sebabkan mereka menangis dalam masa setahun. Kerana pada empat bulan pertama kelahirannya Ia bersyahadat LAA ILAAHA ILLALLAH. Pada empat bulan kedua pula ia berselawat ke atas Nabi s.a.w. Dan pada empat bulan seterusnya pula ia mendoakan kedua ayah bonda nya.'' ( H.R. Abdullah Ibnu Umar r.a. )

Bersabda Baginda Rasulullah s.a.w. :
'' Anak-anak sebelum sampai ia baligh maka apa-apa yang di perbuat nya daripada kebaikan maka di tuliskan untuknya dan kedua ibu bapanya. Dan apa yang di perbuat nya daripada kejahatan maka tiadalah di tulis untuk nya dan tidak pula di tulis untuk kedua ibu bapa nya. Apabila ia telah baligh maka berlakulah yang di tulis itu atasnya ia itu segala amal baik atau buruknya.'' ( H.R.Imam Anas bin Malik r.a.)

P/S : Anak adalah anugerah Allah. Didiklah mereka sebaik-baiknya. Asuhlah mereka dengan kasih sayang bukannya kekerasan dan tengkingan. Janganlah tangisan mereka itu merupakan tangisan terakhir yang mampu kita dengar kesan dari perbuatan kejam kita terhadap mereka.

Sharing is Caring,

Twinnies 18 Month's Jab

Last Saturday we went to SDMC for twinnies appointment with Dr Ali Azman. As both of my girls reached 18 months old, they were both due for their 18 months' immunization.

Usually, twinnies will be awake between 9.00 am to 9.30 am but on that thay we sort of 'forcing' both of them to rise early; at 8.00 am. We wanted to reach Dr. Ali's clinic by 8.30 am (when it opens) so that we did not spent hours in the hospital waiting for our turn. Alhamdulillah, the twins did not make any scene, only a bit of crying upon waking up and alhamdulillah, we managed to secure 2nd place for the appointment :)

While waiting for their turn, conquering the play area :)

If previously Falisya weighed more than Faiqa, it was the other way around after 6 months duration. Faiqa Nayra now is 10.72 kg while Falisya Nayla is 0.5kg less, at 10.2kg. Both at the same height tho, standing at 81cm tall :)

At 18 months, both girls were given two sets of injections each:

- DTP / Polio vaccine
- Chickenpox vaccine (optional)

It means that this time, both butts will be injected..yikes! :P

We did not bring the stroller this time (lately we prefer to leave the stroller at home if we go for short outing, saja kasi the twins lepas bebas..hehe) so I carried Faiqa into Dr. Ali's room while hubby carried Falisya.

As usual, Faiqa was the first to get the shot and as expected, she had no facial expression at all during both jabs! selamba je muka dia sambil belek-belek the brooch on my scarf. It ended before we knew it...suka Dr. Ali! hihi :)

Cheerful while waiting at the corner of Dr. Ali's room for Falisya's turn to get her jabs.

Next, it was Falisya's turn. Since Faiqa was busy playing, I took the chance to 'peek' at Falisya while she got her jab. Unlike Faiqa, Falisya is shy to the stranger so she was a bit uncomfy when Dr. Ali started holding her, not that she was afraid of the jabs. She too, remained calm during both jabs, but a bit afraid of the Doctor :P

Falisya got her second jab..

I am pretty sure most of mommies out there keep a health record book of their own child where it contains information about the child, including the immunisation schedule. But for those who lost the book or simply want to check it online, you can always refer to this link:

It will show you the basic and recommended immunisation schedule in Malaysia :)

Kenwood Multi Snacker

Since I came to know about a waffle maker cum sandwich toaster and griller  from my dear Nuurill on her blogpost here, I've been searching for it, high and low especially when I went to the electrical item section at the malls or simply when we went to electrical shops. So far, luck has not been with me cause it's either out of stock, or they only left with the display set  :(

Until few weeks ago (last December) when we went to Onking Electrical Shop in Putra Heights to buy water heater for our Putra Heights's house, I stumbled upon the multi snacker. It's not Philips as Nuurill's but Kenwood (honestly I don't mind the brand, as long as it is well known for its' reputation and have similar function). My heart jumped with excitement when the sales person told me that they have it in stock! and they are having a sale! double YAY! :))

This is basically how it looks like :)

It is called the Kenwood Multisnacker (sorry I forgot the model). It has 3 functions all together; as a sandwich maker, waffle maker, a griller/griddle as it comes with 3 sets of interchangable plates that are easy to assemble and to clean.

At first, I though I was the only one who was excited. Turned out hubby too, was excited, not to make the waffles obviously :P but to taste my very first homemade waffles. Hihi. Oh ya, we both CRAZY about waffles! ;) After finished working on our Putra Heights' house, we made a short pit stop at nearby Giant to buy fresh milk, maple syrup and small butters (the ones they usually served in hotel). Totally forgot to buy fruits or ice-cream tho...

As soon as we arrived at USJ home, I washed the plates, rinse it off and started to prepare my batter for the waffles. I googled from the net and found a simple recipe, from Allrecipe if I'm not mistaken. Tried it on and it turned out  as what I expected; crunchy on the outside and soft inside ;)

Let me share with you this easy peasy recipe:

Waffle Batter

2 eggs
2 cups of all rising flour
1 3/4 cups of fresh milk
1/2 cup of canola oil/vegetable oil
1 tablespoon of sugar
A pinch of salt
1 teaspoon of vanilla essence
butter to grease the snacker plate

Preheat the waffle maker.

In a mixing bowl, beat the eggs until fluffy. Add sugar, vanilla essence and salt. Stir. Pour in the milk and oil, followed by the flour bit by bit and stir until the batter become smooth.

If you have the non-stick cooking spray, spray the waffle plates before you pour in the batter. If you don't have it, brushing some butter on the plates will do.

The batter can be kept in the refrigerator for 1 week duration but do remember to whisk the batter first before making the waffles.

my 1st homemade waffles
served the way my hubby likes it; with butter and maple syrup
(choc chip tu saja mengada nak letak :P)

and this is how we both like it..with ice-cream, choc sauce and nuts! :)

Glad that I finally had it, the twins especially love waffles very much that sometimes I just added honey in the waffle batter (instead of sugar) or added some cocoa powder to make chocolate waffles. Easy for them to hold and enjoy it instead of having to pour the syrups/ spread the jam on top.

To continue my excitement, I tried the griller function too the same week itself. Made grilled cajun chicken for dinner and it's soo easy peasy compared to using the microwave or the oven.

grilled cajun chicken in the making..

Next, I wanna try out the sandwich maker. Oh I totally in love this item! :) Will definitely bring it along for my future vacations as it is compact and not that heavy. Hubby too, plan to bring it for his business trip, which is coming soon. *tsk!

Road Trip to Batu Pahat (Pt.2)

We woke up early on day 2, for the obvious reason each time we stay in a hotel; the breakfast buffet...hihi :) The food selection was pretty much the same as our previous stay at the Katerina, but this time they added up a waffle counter besides the omelette counter.

Falisya eating her favourite fruit; watermelon

After breakfast, the kids decided to hang out at a corner between the restaurant and the hotel lobby. Managed to snap few photos of them there.. :)

semua belum hehe!

Back at our room later on, we continue to relax while waiting to get ready for my cousin's wedding and to check-out from the hotel.

Faaz busy playing games...

while the twins having their morning dose of milk :P

Soon it was 11am, and it's time for all of us to get ready and pack our things. As usual, I got all my three children to get ready before me. By 12pm, we went down to the lobby to check-out.

Falisya was looking for her necklace, didn't realized it was already hung at her neck :P

Had to give my phone to twinnies to make them sit still at the lobby area.
There's no way I can catch them both while wearing kurung and heels :P

Off we went to the wedding!

Some of my aunties were already there when we arrived at Banang Jaya (the wedding location). Since the 'majlis bersanding' will only be started at 2.30pm, we decided to have our lunch first. Twinnies were asleep at this time so we just transferred them inside the house.

Faaz was so happy to find out that almost the same briyani was served at the wedding that he enjoyed his lunch to the max. Makan bertambah anak bujang I :)

We went inside the house after lunch while waiting for the groom (my cousin) and his 'rombongan' to arrive. Twinnies woke up not long after, so we just killed the time snapping photos and chit-chatting, sharing stories and news with each other.

part of the family from my late father's side...

The hantaran

The newlywed 'old-ly-wed' couple..hihi :)

Soon, the bride came out of her room gracefully and waiting at her dais. We knew instantly that the groom will be coming anytime soon. Since this was a Johorian wedding, the single ladies also positioned themselves near the dais for the "toll session". Hehe :D

Arny look radiant and lovely in her wedding gown

so did us at the back! hihi :)

Here's come my cousin; Falahuddin :)

As soon as he passed the toll :P

Faaz  was looking at the 'merenjis' session

The 'merenjis' session

As soon as the merenjis session finished, we made our way back to Kuala Lumpur. Can't afford to stay longer cause both me and Fadzil had to work the next day. We made a pit stop at Restoran Jejantas Air Keroh as the kids were hungry. Went to KFC to have some snack before continue our journey back to USJ :)

Two hyperactive and hungry girls..

Dapat makan je senyap dua-dua! :D

To Falah & Arny,

"Selamat Pengantin Baru". Barakallah, semoga ikatan yg dibina kekal hingga ke syurga. Welcome to the family, Arny! Kampung kita dekatlah, boleh la singah2 raya nanti ;)
