Greetings!

Assalamualaikum Dear Readers,

Hope it's not too late to wish everyone Happy 2018! May we be a better person this year; physically, mentally, and spiritually. InsyaAllah :)

How's this new year has been treating you so far? As for me, it started with new things, new environment for us; the FN family.

First, Faaz went for circumcision in end of December. A new and probably the last experience for me and my husband in taking care of him during the "pantang" or recovery period :) A big pat on the shoulder to my husband for being a personalized male nurse to Faaz for the whole 1 week, attending to his emotional behaviour, phobia and whatnot. It ain't easy! Sometimes, I had a big laugh listening to their conversations in the bathroom during the cleaning/bathing session. So funny ok! I tried to stay away most of the time, to let them both having their father-son bonding time. As for Faaz, mommy is so proud of you that despite the phobia, you're brave enough at last (of course, after like the 50th time Daddy convinced you :P) to put on your pants back by the 5th day and by 7th day all is well. Alhamdulillah, you're a grown little man now..hihi.

Next, the highlight was when our little twin daughters embarked on a new journey in primary school, year 1. It was a new whole experience for our family as this is the first time all 3 of my children attending the same school during the same period of time. Waking up extra early morning for both me and hubs, tag team in preparing the 3 FN for school, early breakfast of 5 in the morning (which never happened on weekdays before) and early arrival at the office. Super tired, but blessed. I even got some time off before work to settle some house chores and watering/attending my plants #majorlove!

As for Faiqa and Falisya, alhamdulillah they are happy with the new environment, especially having the fact that they get to go to the same school with Faaz. They were excited too, to have a ride in a school bus, which something they never experience before. Waking up super early in the morning is not an issue to them, and so does the super early breakfast. The only issue was to get them to get them to be independent in some areas as most of the time they tend to rely on Faaz for guiding them. Lucky us, Faaz is such a responsible & caring big brother who always be there for the girls. Not a day he complaints that he had to wait / look for them / walk with them in the morning and afternoon. #majorthankfulforthisboyofmine

Here's a photo of them on their first day of school on 2nd January. Dear 2018, bring it on! :)
